Settings can export an accounting journal (one entry per day) that QuickBooks Online and Xero import, plus sales, catalog and orders, for your bookkeeper
- Not a warehouse or buying system: it tracks your catalog and what you sell, not purchase orders across distribution centers
- Not a cryptocurrency product, and not related to Ledger the crypto wallet company
Questions
Can I see all my locations together?
Yes. Groups and franchises get a console that compares every location and opens any one of them. Each person only gets the permissions you give them.
Does it show profit, not just revenue?
Yes. Every item holds the cost you paid, so each sale shows profit, and reports show profit by day, week and month. Voided sales are removed from the numbers.
Does it reconcile cash and card against my bank?
No. It records how each sale was paid and what is still owed. It doesn’t connect to bank accounts, so deposits are checked outside it.
Does it connect to QuickBooks or other accounting?
Not as a live connection. Settings can export an accounting journal, one balanced entry per day with payments by method, sales, delivery income, sales tax and cost of goods, in the file layout QuickBooks Online and Xero import. Sales, catalog and orders can also be exported for your accountant.
What are the fees?
A flat monthly price per store with the first month free. No setup fee, no per-user charge, no contract, and no payment-processing fee because it doesn’t process payments.
What if I want to leave?
Export your sales, catalog and orders from Settings at any time. There is no contract to cancel.

Do I need special hardware?
No. Ledger Systems runs in a web browser on the phone, tablet or computer you already have, with nothing to install. Receipts print from any printer your device can print to.
Does it take card payments?
Ledger records how a customer paid (cash, card, finance or a split) and what is still owed. It isn’t a card processor, so you keep using the card terminal you already have and there are no payment-processing fees from us.
Is it cloud based, and can I use it any time?
Yes. Ledger Systems is cloud based, so it is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from any device with a browser. Your sales, catalog and deliveries are stored online and stay in sync on every device that is signed in: the counter computer, the owner's phone and the driver's phone all show the same store.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Sales, catalog and orders can be exported from Settings at any time, so your records are never locked in.
